I was in Copenhagen for a general tour and didn't get much time to study the local booze- though I did drink a lot of it. Most of it was beer or wine paired to match dinner.
However, one day we had a "traditional Danish lunch," which involved a cod buffet followed by some sort of beef dish. I didn't really pay attention since I'm not an eater of the animals.
What was cool was the matching drinks. Our waitress brought out a basket of schnapps of different flavors. Actually it was one flavorless alcohol and six different bottles of low-proof schnapps in order from mild to strongly herbacious. Once you chose your flavor level, she'd pour most of a liqueur glass full of the alcohol and top it off with the flavoring. The stuff had quite a kick.
